American Recovery and Reinvestment Act
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 is an economic stimulus package enacted by the 111th United States congress and signed into law by the President. Section 1605 of the ARRA establishes a "Buy American" requirement for federal, state, and local government projects funded with ARRA stimulus money.
We are pleased to announce an offering of Morin Actuators and provide customers with world-class products that meet the “Buy American” requirements under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Our Morin brand of pneumatic and hydraulic actuators are comprised of imported and domestic components which are assembled and tested in our manufacturing facility in Pelham, Alabama and meet the requirements of a “domestic manufactured good” as required by Section 1605 of ARRA and the implementing regulations (2 CFR Part 176, Subpart B). Tracking and traceability is crucial for Recovery Act projects, so if your request-for-quote or purchase order is for a project that must be ARRA-Buy American compliant, let us know so we can document this requirement on the quote / order.
